rav4 lift

Those big rubber 4x4 tires. How do you choose which to use? What is your experience with them? Those tires are so vital to successful off roading. What are the options when lifting the truck to fit the big rubber.

Hey Jacob!

I don't know anyone who sells lift kits for the Toyota Rav 4. I think the Rav 4 driveline is really not built to take larger tires. You would have to swap the whole thing out for something stronger.

There are aftermarket slight lift kits for the Rav4. ARB Old Man Emu and King Springs both make heavier duty coil spring upgrades and Firestone makes an airbag insert. The problem is the new Rav4's 2006-2009. These are not in stock anywhere and are expensive to ship to the US from Australia. The older ones have nice kits from an ARB dealer.
